2013 Round Up!

I am finally with the rest of the world, and can accept that it is 2014 already.  Last year I made some resolutions that looking back on, I am surprised I actually stuck with.  I guess sharing them really helped keep me accountable.

I am going to start this round up by looking ahead before looking back.

Blog goals for 2014

I started this blog to share my quick recipes, because my job is super nutso sometimes, and I loved coming up with healthy meals that took very little effort and time.  This year I plan to refocus on that, with quick recipes that either take very little time to cook, or very little time to prep.

Personal goals for 2014

I want to read at least 12 books again this year, I really liked having and tracking that goal last year.  If you want to follow along with my goals or set your own, GoodReads makes it super easy.

I also want to continue exercising at least 3 times per week.  Including at least 1 day per week of yoga.

Most popular recipes of 2013:

I was kind of excited to find out that 2 of the most popular recipes of this year were also 2 of my faves.  I make the Kale and Lentil Soup on a regular basis, it might be my favorite recipe of all time.  And it doesn’t even have chocolate!

My Favorite Things of 2013:

I am so grateful for everything on the blog this year, especially features on Shape, Huffington Post, Redbook, Door to Door Organics, and Skinny Mom.

I am also so, so grateful for all the awesome bloggers I have gotten to know, they are wonderful people with serious talent, so make sure to check out their amazing websites below.

Maybe my favorite thing of this year has been Door to Door Organics.  Since I am not a big fan of food shopping, Door to Door has made my life so much easier.  They deliver organic produce and other groceries to my house once a week.  Not only is it super convenient, but I find they also carry a lot more variety then my local food store.  And their customer service is amazing to boot!! I am pretty obsessed with them.
