Vegan Fritters - Broccoli Cheddar (gluten free)

  • 2 cups Garbanzo/Fava Bean Flour
  • 2 cups Water (boiling)
  • ¼ cup Nutritional Yeast
  • ¾ cup Chopped Broccoli (the frozen variety, thawed is perfect, or fresh is awesome too)
  • ¼ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Sea Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • EV Olive Oil, to cook
To Serve
  1. In the bowl of a food processor, add the flour, water, yeast, broccoli, garlic powder, and salt and pepper
  2. Process until combined
  3. In a pan on medium heat add a teaspoon of oil, and scoop the fritters using a rounded tablespoon
  4. Fry until crisp on one side, flip and fry the other until crisp, about 5 minutes on each side
  5. Serve warm with your chosen accompaniment (salt additionally if needed)
  6. Eat up!!
