Holiday spirit has been in full swing since we got back from vacation. And it has it been hustle and bustle-y!! I’m going to be honest with you guys, I haven’t wrapped a single present yet. #Itsokitwillallgetdone #Deepbreath
Do you have any last minute holiday things to do?
I have been meaning to share pictures from vacation, so this post is going to be picture sharing plus some holiday recipe round ups. Then I am going to take a few days off for Christmas, come back with some lovely New Years cocktails next week, then get into my PJs and take a nice long nap.
Disney was amazing. In fact yesterday morning, between calls and trying to get caught up at work, I suddenly really really missed it. I think I want to live in the Cinderella castle with hubby. You can all visit me there all the time. What do you think?
The food was amazing (as usual) the weather was beautiful (we went swimming! in December!) and the crowds were tame. Seriously, I don’t think the trip could have been any more perfect.
Disney goes all out for Christmas. A huge tree in every park, and lights and decorations everywhere. It was really awesome, but it didn’t feel like Christmas as much as I expected. I think it was because it was so warm. But I was so happy it was warm, and all the Christmas music and parades were incredible. Disney gives me smile lines, and I am totally OK with that.
AAAND! We went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!!!!!!!! We had a much better experience this time (read: I freaked out and ran around and had the most fun ever!!). The first time we went it was sooo crowded, and we waited on line for the main ride (in Hogwarts.. aka my dream come true) for nearly 2 hours. It was totally worth it, but it was hard to really get to enjoy the shops in Hogsmeade because they are very small and people were packed in there like sardines.
This time.. I rode the main ride 4 times!! It. Was. Amazing. I was seriously in heaven. And my sister who was with us, is also a big Harry Potter nerd, and it was so much fun nerding out over everything with her!!
I could go on forever about the trip. It was just so fun, and telling you guys about it is like reliving it again. Amazing.
But now I will leave you with some Holiday Recipe Round-Ups for your menu planning needs!!
I hope you all have an amazing holiday, I will be back next Wednesday with some New Years recipes. So until then, I wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and hope you have a safe and relaxing week!!!
