A while back the weirdest thing ever happened to me. I started to love exercise. I went from the wake-up-as-late-as-I-can-get-away-with (I was serious about getting every last minute of sleep) to getting up early to work out. Which is seriously something I never ever thought I would do. (Ok, I am still serious about my sleep, it just makes me go to bed nice and early these days!)
And now I am totally obsessed with yoga. I got bit by the yoga bug (which is not a real thing for the record, yoga contains no bugs, promise!). I started with some DVDs, and then recently found a wonderful yoga studio where I literally fell in love with practicing yoga.
So if you see my profile pictures start showing me doing yoga poses, don’t be surprised. I think I am totally going to be that girl. I mean ever since I mastered the crow, I can’t stop talking about it or doing it (even when it’s not the appropriate time or place to be doing yoga poses, like in the middle of conversations at family functions.)
I even looked up to see if Disney World offers yoga classes for our next trip (for the record they don’t but they should, so if you work for Disney and you are reading this you should totally do it!!)
Over the last several years, it is crazy how my life has changed. I have never felt better, and I am so grateful for all of it. I feel strong and healthy, and also like I am unavoidably very crunchy. This list is pretty much a summary of my life, and I am so totally ok with it.
Health highlight of strawberries: Strawberries are powerhouses for nutrition. They contain high levels of antioxidants, contain more vitamin c than oranges, and a variety of phytonutrients. Strawberries are a good source of potassium, which helps to aid in keeping blood pressure at healthy levels. They have even been shown to help regulate blood sugar. Strawberries are also anti-inflammatory, and could help keep your brain healthy and even prevent cancer!!
